<br />
Quite frankly, I haven't bought anything from them, but I sometimes peruse through their website to find inspiration and outfit ideas. Their clothes and accessories are very unique and vintage-y, Which I love!<br />
<br />
Check out their <a href="http://www.shopruche.com/lookbook_unending_love.html">look book</a> if you need proof!<br />
<br />
<br />
On one of my monitor shopping trips to Ruche, I became so obssessed with this bag, I almost bought it but it was sold out. I'm now on Plan B, I have to re-create this little piece of heaven, using linen fabric, perhaps.<br />
Any ideas on where to start?? Free pattern that I can adapt? Do you have one and want to get rid of it?<br />

A summer dress from a ruffle skirt and a tank top. As you may already know, the true meaning of refashion is not to reuse, reclaim and to give new life to things that would otherwise end in a landfill. That being said, Go grab something and re-create it.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I have read tons of parenting magazines, through the 7 1/2 years of motherhood. All these magazines, aside from trying to get you to buy pampers and creams, focus on the positive side of motherhood. No one ever tells you of the things we lose in this journey. Our identity, independence, our careers, the expensive bags for baby bags, The party animal attitude, the high-heels replaced for flats. Yes! we give up much of what makes us who we are, to raise and guide this little person in a world <em>We</em> don't even know how to navigate.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When I turn around and look back at all those years and things I've <em>lost</em>, I realize I wanted to be lost all along. I wanted to give up all the vanities for this life. I wanted to be home cuddling with Janet rather than sweating at a club. I wanted to spend every evening doing homework rather than watching movies. I want to be with her when she's sick to comfort her. I want her to be able to look at her childhood and say the same.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I've got a lot to figure out in this journey, but I know for a fact that this is who I want to be, it’s not all that complicated. It’s about love. Love, and hope.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I figure once in a while I have to pay respect to my blog name and post a refashion of sorts.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I had this button down in my stash for months, not because I didn't know what to do with it, but because I didn't want to sew for long time.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Everything thing I tried turned out to be a mess, so I discouraged myself from touching a sewing machine and concentrated in other things, Simple things, Like hair clips, headbands, brouches, etc. Which also explains why Janet and my nieces have tons of accessories. This, however, has been the simplest refashion I've done in months! Best of all, Janet loves it! Win-Win for everyone!</div><a href="http://missrefashionista.blogspot.com/2011/03/hubbies-old-shirt-janets-new-dress.html#more">Continue reading....</a>Yolanda @ Miss Refashionistahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695803914567223699noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7388207301017931591.post-24790915841758689202011-03-03T12:45:00.006-05:002011-03-03T14:16:21.451-05:00Burberry Knock-Off T-shirt<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fUvudAqYHOM/TW_Kqlth_cI/AAAAAAAAARA/eYLrKJWn8fA/s1600/Burberry.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" l6="true" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-fUvudAqYHOM/TW_Kqlth_cI/AAAAAAAAARA/eYLrKJWn8fA/s640/Burberry.jpg" width="640"></a></div><br>

<div style="text-align: center;"><strike>I'm a bit of a show off!</strike> I'm a proud mama, So I'm here to brag about this dress I made for Janet to kick-off her Spring wardrobe. If you're a mother, you would already know there's something rewarding about seeing your kids with the coolest clothes (while you look like you just came out of a dryer), on the other hand, if you're not a mother, wait, just wait til you get there. :)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I like Jcrew and Mini Boden to shop for Janet's clothes (on eBay, of Course, Cause I'm a cheapo!!)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I must warn you though, you'd be seeing a few more of these homemade outfits as I attempt to create a high end wardrobe on the cheap. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have a great weekend!!!! </div>Yolanda @ Miss Refashionistahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04695803914567223699noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7388207301017931591.post-64036948737275033472011-02-24T15:19:00.000-05:002011-02-24T15:19:48.068-05:00Little Girls Clothing Inspiration<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4oQV56QWKb8/TWa6bDujleI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/X-ROd06Zf5s/s1600/1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" l6="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4oQV56QWKb8/TWa6bDujleI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/X-ROd06Zf5s/s640/1.JPG" width="640"></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I've been sewing a lot lately (By a lot I mean ONE dress) putting together my daughter's spring wardrobe.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Can you believe that?
